Management of TES Electronic Solutions GmbH

TES Electronic Solutions GmbH has been a specialist for tailor-made services in the electronics sector for many years. The history and development of TES is closely linked to the professional career of the Chairman of the Board Jürgen Zeller - a proven expert in the global electronics industry. He started his career as a graduate electrical engineer at Siemens in the field of development of customer-specific embedded systems. Further professional stations were NEC Semiconductors, Bosch and Cadence Design Systems.

1999
Foundation of Sorep Electronic Engineering as a subsidiary of Thomson-CSF with the establishment and expansion of a network of design centres.
2000
Change of name from Thomson CSF to Thales Group. Jürgen Zeller takes over the management of Thales Electronic Engineering and Thales Microelectronics.
2005
Spin-off of TES Electronic Solutions GmbH from the Thales Group.
Jürgen Zeller initially becomes Vice President of TES Electronic Solutions GmbH. From 2008 he was head of the international business unit "Design Services & Technology".
2010
Mr. Zeller became CEO of TES Electronic Solutions GmbH.

 

CEO Juergen Zeller

Juergen Zeller was one of the founders of TES and serves as CEO since 2010.

For the international Thales Group Mr. Zeller successfully founded Thales Electronic Engineering in Germany in 1999 and built a network of Design Centers providing professional embedded design services, leading edge technologies and IP. He served as Managing Director of Thales Electronic Engineering as well as of Thales Microelectronics. In 2005 he was co-founder of the TES Group as a spin-off from Thales and became Vice President Worldwide Engineering responsible for all Design Centers in France, Germany, UK, US, India, Serbia and Bulgaria. Since 2008 he served as Head of the international Business Unit Design Services & Technology and since 2010 as CEO of TES.

Mr. Zeller holds a diploma in electronic engineering and has over 30 years experiences in leading commercial and technical roles in the global electronics industry. After his studies he started his career as Design Engineer of customized embedded systems at Siemens. In 1990 he joined NEC Semiconductors as Application Engineer for µProcessors and ASICs and took later the key account responsibility for Bosch. In 1996 he joined Cadence Design Systems in order to roll out Cadence's design services business in Europe.

DCM Leonidas Baduvas

Leonidas joined TES Electronic Solutions in 2001. He currently serves as Design Center Manager for the TES site in Duesseldorf. In this role, he is responsible for the developing and strategical growing of the design center with P&L responsibility and business development. Leonidas has an active role in sales business. He supports our customers in northwest Germany and in the Benelux offering design services activities.
Leonidas started in 1990 his career as design engineer at Robert Bosch in Reutlingen with main focus in development and physical implementation of mixed signal integrated circuits for the automotive and telecommunication industry.
In 1989 Leonidas hold his Diploma in Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Giessen and in 1995 his degree as Business Economist at the Administration and Business Academy in Stuttgart.

DCM Joachim Hüpper

Joachim Huepper manages the TES Electronic Solutions Design Center in Offenbach with focus on HMI solutions. This includes the management and strategy of the industry-leading GUILIANI HMI software framework in particular and HMI design services in general. He also works with related customers and partners across Europe, as well as key accounts in the southern parts of Germany.

Joachim earned his diploma in electronics engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim. His international career spans various senior R&D and Marketing positions at global players such as ABB, Avnet and Renesas Electronics, as well as at innovative SME's in Germany. Joachims experience also includes driving partner networks towards mutual success, Quality Assurance for products as well as services, Marketing Communications, legal and export control.

Director BU Roland Giesbert

Roland Giesbert is Director of our Business Unit for ASIC and FPGA developments. Roland joined the company in 2002 as junior and holds several years of experience in a wide range of ASIC and FPGA developments. In 2014 he joined the management team including operative, management and also sales responsibilities.

Roland earned his degree on the university of applied sciences Aschaffenburg in 2001 and joined TES after a science project at his university.

Besides his operational, sales and management responsibilities, he also drives in-house activities about ERP/CRM as well as ISO26262 activities.

 

TL Can Bingöl

Can joined TES Electronic Solutions in 2000. He currently serves as Technical Leader and Project Manager for Systems on Silicon. In this role, he is responsible for analog/RF ASIC and IC turnkey projects.
Can started his career as design engineer at Frauenhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, Erlangen.
Can lives in Stuttgart and has a Master's Degree in Electronics (Dipl.-Ing.) from the University of Stuttgart.

DCM Jens Castagne

Jens Castagne is Design Center Manager at TES Electronic Solutions in Hamburg. Jens joined the company in June 2001 and is responsible for the management of the development site in Hamburg. In this role he mainly focuses on strategy, HW/SW development and Graphics IP as well as professional design services for national and international customers.
 
Jens holds a diploma in electronic engineering (microelectronics) from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. During his more than 25-years career, which he started at Philips Semiconductors in 1992, he moved from ASIC development engineer for front-end and back-end for Audio and Video applications to project management, leading international development teams. He became Head of ASIC Development of the Business Line In-Product-Solutions at Atos Origin GmbH in 1997. In 2001 he additionally became responsible for the SW team and for sales at Thales Microelectronis.

SBDM Thomas Hase

Thomas Hase is Senior Business Development Manager at TES Electronic Solutions. Thomas joined the company in November 2011 and is responsible for the product management, strategy, worldwide sales as well as partnerships in the area of our Graphics, HMI and Video technology products and services. In addition, he is key account manager for our customers of such products as well as for our customers in the northern parts of Germany.

Thomas earned his master’s degree in electronics engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology, Germany, and started his career in 1995 at Philips Semiconductors. He moved from pre-development to leading an application team for TV and video products, becoming responsible for worldwide 2nd line support and technical sales. In 2010, he strengthened his strategic and commercial career orientation joining Reycom as Business Development Manager, a startup company producing high-end cable set top boxes.

BDM Uwe Engeser

Uwe is developing TES Electronic Solutions business in Hardware, Microwave, Antenna, FPGA and RF-ASICs. He is responsible for worldwide sales of technology, products, design and services as well as partnerships in this area.

In his previous roles, he served as head of development for embedded systems. During his career he was responsible for design of turn-key projects in Hard- and Software, of electronic in automation, industrial, medical, automotive and aviation.

Uwe lives near Stuttgart and hold a Master's Degree in Electronics from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
